My father was admitted in to prospect park hospital Oakward ward
I highly recommend this place..

Dedicated rooms
Lovely foods
Well looked after
This establishment should be very proud of itself.
Whilst the NHS may be on its knees this place is still outstanding

Care ok, but discharge procedure failed this time. Old lady who was not encouraged to get on her feet or use her legs for 3 weeks while in your care.
Allowed home & carers set up but no equipment put in place for the lady for her return.
Family totally unhappy with the care on discharge & home return.
Suggested improvements
Have relevant equipment in place, instead of passing the responsibility to someone else

I did have an incident with some of the nursing staff on Friday 5th May when I felt extremely ill, I wasn't able to breath, and nearly collapsed. I was ignored and had to make an emergency call to my wife and demand the staff call for the consultant. I then vomited 1.5 ltres and later aother 1.6 litres and was diagnosed with a severe case of paralytic ileus . The PA was very good.

The nurses shouldn't have ignore my please especially as they knew I am a medical doctor, GP.
